Goals

1. 5k Run
Run a 5k by the end of April. Complete the 5k in under 40 minutes. Not be in last place for my age group.

Completed my first 5k on April 13, 2014. Finish time was 46:20. I didn't finish in under 40 minutes, but the course was a lot more difficult than I expected. My goal for the next one is to finish in under 38 minutes. I was NOT in last place for my group :) and I didn't stop or walk any part of it!

2. Weight: 260
Weigh 260 lbs by Easter (April 20, 2014).
I did not meet this goal. At Easter, I weighed 268lbs. There were several reasons why I didn't meet the goal, but mostly, I was over eating (especially Easter weekend). So I'm going to have to revamp goal #3, because I don't think I'd be able to lose 20lbs in the next 2 weeks.

3.  Weight: 255
Weigh 255 lbs by Disney Trip (May 5, 2014). Lose another 10lbs in less than 1 month!

4. 5k Run - 2nd Attempt
Run my second 5k by the end of June. Complete the 5k in under 38 minutes. Not be in last place for my age group. Not walk or stop during any part of it.

5. Weight: 200
Weigh 200 lbs by beginning of school in August 2014. Lose another 55 lbs in 4 months (May-Aug)!

6. Size 14
Wear a size 14 by January 1, 2015. Not have to shop in plus size clothes at all.

7. Lose 100 lbs
Lose 100 lbs (from 285 lbs : post baby weight) by January 1, 2015. Weigh 185 lbs or less by date.

8. Roller Coasters
Go to a theme park and ride ALL of the roller coasters without the fear of being too big to fit in them. I'm not sure the timeline on this, because I'm not sure what size/weight I need to be to be able to overcome this fear. I'm hoping that by the time I'm 220lbs, I won't feel so insecure about my size/weight. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, you can read THIS POST

9. Zip Lining
I want to take Isabella zip lining. In order to do that, the people weigh you before they secure your harnesses. The idea of that happening makes me about throw up. The weight limit is 280lbs, which I'm already under, but I still can't stomach the idea of someone weighing me in any sort of public setting. I think this fear won't be easier to manage until I'm under 200lbs. So that's my timeline goal for this one... when I'm under 200lbs, I want to go zip lining (which should be by September 2014).

10. Husband
My husband has no idea how much I weigh. Again, if you want to read in depth about this issue, you can go to THIS POST. Some days, I'm ready to tell him now... but then I chicken out. So again, I'm not sure of the timeline on this one. I hope I can tell him soon, but it may be after I have reached my final weightloss goal. I'm just not sure, but I'm excited for the day I can mark this off my goal list!
I'm SO PROUD to say I completed this goal!!!!!! Last week, I talked to Paul about my fear of him knowing exactly how much I weigh. I told him the lengths I've gone to to cover up my weight number so that he would never find out how much I weigh or what size clothes I wear. I told him I was tired of keeping it a secret, and just wanted to trust him that he would love me regardless. I didn't just tell him what I weigh now... I told him where I started (320 lbs)... I was very embarrased and felt very insecure, but he reassured me that he loved me no matter what, and told me that he thinks it's amazing how much I've already lost! It's nice to know that I don't have to keep any of it a secret anymore. The insecure side of me wonders if he really is judging me and thinks I'm gross, but just isn't telling me... but I'm trying to keep that side to myself.
